The Proctor & Gamble Company has expanded its voluntary recall of 6.8 pound bags of Iams Proactive Health Indoor Weight & Hairball Care cat food with code date of 02304173 (B1-B6) and the UPC number 1901403921 to include the following states: Illinois, New Mexico, Texas, Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Kansas, Wisconsin, South Dakota, North Dakota, Montana, Wyoming and Colorado.
If you have purchased this product, my recommendation would be to check your bag for the code date and UPC number above no matter what state you live in.
If you find that you own one of these bags with the codes above, discard it and call P & G toll-free at 800-862-3332 Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. EST for a product refund.
